Eric and Melissa McDonald minister to international students and professors at the University of Iowa. They share the good news of Jesus Christ with students, teach, disciple, send, and follow-up those who have returned to their home country.

Prayer Requests

* Please pray for family trip this summer to visit Alumni on the east coast, that we can be an encouragement to those we visit.
*Pray for ministry this summer.  We would like to restart potluck and Bible Study in our home and are looking for help.  Please pray for a good partner.
*Eric's seminary degree had an emphasis in counseling and he has had many opportunities to counsel international alumni, families, and students in the last few months. Pray for these conversations about marriage, parenting, habits, work, etc. Pray that the conversations would help people heal and grow in the Lord.
*Pray for Miriam with MS as she has had a number of symptoms lately which makes life and ministry more difficult. 
*Pray for a visiting scholar named Lydia and her daughter Jasmine who are leaving in June. Melissa and I have met with Lydia off and on and she wants to do one more Bible study with us before returning home. Pray that she would take the steps of faith toward the Lord. 
*Eric has become friends with an emeritus professor of the philosophy and they have had several very good conversation about the Old Testament. This professor is maybe best described as "God haunted" where the truths of Christ have followed him his whole life. He is in his 80's and we are having him over for dinner this Spring. Would you pray that the Lord would use the time in his life?
