Meet Spencer & Tereza Steel

Student Life Coordinators at a local High School.  Spencer coordinates a Student Life initiative at a local High School. He is developing a structure that allows for every student to be as involved as they desire, all for the purpose of life on life discipleship. He also teaches which gives him an opportunity to develop relationships with the local teenagers. He started a new ministry to their town’s teenagers by providing basketball practices. Tereza invests the bulk of her time to their kids and a youth ministry research project.

Prayer Requests

  • Praise: Caden’s second year of pre-school went great! He has lots of friends and is excited to go most days

  • Praise: There were three people baptized by our church two weeks ago and all three were teenagers! Two were from BMA and all three shared testimonies in front of the whole church about their faith-journeys and how impactful their peers were in their journey 

  • Praise: Spencer’s brother moved to Czech last year with his family (wife and two little girls) and it has been incredible to spend weekends together with them throughout the year; our two young families growing up together is a dream come true 

  • Praise: Tereza and I got to go to a marriage retreat this Spring, they confiscated all phones at registration and had a great weekend planned for all the couples; it was our first such retreat since getting married and it was a really nice blessing and investment into our marriage 

  • Request: That we would truly be able to slow down and rest as a whole family this Summer 

  • Request: That we would find fresh inspiration and vision for the next academic year (Bible teaching, discipleship, basketball ministry, team dynamics)
